Who wants to go home
Drill consisted of weapons training and every grunts favorite activity weapons maintenance. Before We could leave on Sunday I was tasked with finding 5 or more bodies to replace a few parts on the protective masks... It would be nice if they functioned like they are supposed to when needed. Initial my search was meet with disdain from most of the soldiers I spoke with. But the I noticed some of the troops in the RSP (Recruit sustainment program) platoon just sitting around so I asked them who wants to go home, this question received an instant response. After I explained that the sooner this last task was done then we could all go to the house. I will give them credit after only a 5 minute block of instruction they tore into the task at hand with great enthusiasm and 20 minutes later we were standing in final formation.
